Compute pH from Conductivity pH may be calculated from power plant specific and cation conductivity measurements using industry-proven algorithms now in the Thornton 770MAX Multiparameter Analyzer/Transmitter. Under normal conditions the results are more reliable and accurate than with pH electrode measurement. The 770MAX can also determine carbon dioxide concentration from cation and degassed cation conductivity measurements to distinguish it from more corrosive contaminants.
